Kyle Harrison-Brewers-SP
Kyle Harrison recorded just 1.2 innings while allowing 4 ER with 1 BB and 1 K, capping a frustrating season in which his 4.25 ERA and 1.34 WHIP have been paired with a promising 28% K rate and 21% K-BB%; the second-half numbers have been even rougher, with a 7.00 ERA and 2.04 WHIP across 27.0 IP, while his 25% K rate and 15% K-BB% show the strikeout ability is still there but the 3.33 HR/9 and .410 BABIP have made run prevention a major problem, leaving Harrison as an intriguing but risky 2027 bounce-back candidate if he can regain some consistency from the first half.
Drew Rasmussen-Rays-SP
Drew Rasmussen tossed 5.0 scoreless innings with 1 BB and 1 K, continuing a strong season in which he has posted a 2.72 ERA and 0.93 WHIP across 165.1 IP with a 25% K rate, 5% BB rate, and 21% K-BB%; the 3.34 SIERA and 110 Stuff+ support the results, and his ability to limit walks and home runs gives him a solid foundation heading into 2027, although the strikeout ceiling keeps him from being an elite fantasy arm. It is also nice to see him set a career high in innings pitched in back-to-back seasons after dealing with injuries prior.
Sal Stewart-Reds-1B
Sal Stewart went 2-for-4 with a HR, 2 R, and an RBI, adding to what has been an impressive rookie season with a .271 average, 32 HR, 85 R, 109 RBI, and 15 SB over 661 PA. What makes the production particularly interesting is that it hasn't been driven by an excessive strikeout rate, as Stewart has struck out just 22% of the time while maintaining a 9% BB rate. He has remained productive in the second half as well, hitting .291 with 12 HR and 43 RBI over 243 PA, although the 39% HardHit rate is a little less exciting than the home-run total would suggest. Still, the combination of contact, plate discipline, and power gives Stewart a very interesting offensive foundation heading into 2027.
Konnor Griffin-Pirates-SS
Konnor Griffin went 1-for-4 with 2 RBI and a run scored. He is wrapping up a season that has given fantasy managers plenty to be excited about with a .262 average, 5 HR, 41 R, 29 RBI, and 22 SB across 300 PA. The second half has been more uneven, though, as Griffin has hit just .196 over 48 PA with a 23% K rate, and his 2.9% Barrel rate and 31% HardHit rate during that stretch suggest the power hasn't really developed yet. The encouraging part is that the 22 steals already provide a strong fantasy foundation, and at his age, there is plenty of time for the quality of contact to catch up. Griffin's 2027 value will largely come down to whether he can improve the bat-to-ball and power components without sacrificing the speed that already gives him a high fantasy floor.
Henry Bolte-Athletics-OF
Henry Bolte went 1-for-4 with an RBI, continuing a solid season in which he is hitting .275 with 11 HR, 52 R, 34 RBI, and 21 SB across 432 PA. The strikeout rate remains the biggest blemish at 29%, but there is enough quality contact behind the production, with a 47% HardHit rate and 113.7 mph max exit velocity, to believe there is more power coming as he matures. The .378 BABIP has helped the batting average, so some regression there is possible, but the combination of power and speed gives Bolte an intriguing fantasy profile. For 2027, he has the tools to take a significant step forward if he can trim the strikeouts and turn more of that hard contact into game power and become a true five-category player.
