Eduardo Rodriguez, SP, ARI
E-Rod was stellar once again against the Red Sox on Wednesday, striking out 9 over 7 shutout innings, allowing just 2 hits and 3 BB's in the victory. It's been a career year for Rodriguez, who currently owns a stellar 2.50 ERA across 27 starts this season, putting him on pace to easily best his previous career low mark of 3.30. Everything seems to point to the idea that he has gotten extremely lucky this season, as his .265 BABIP, 82.9% LOB%, and 7.4% HR/FB are all easily career bests, while his 6.61 K/9 is by far a career low. His 4.34 xFIP is pretty close to his career mark (4.16), so we should not expect Rodriguez to post a replica of this season in 2027.
Bryan Woo, SP, SEA
Woo struggled mightily against the Phillies on Wednesday, allowing 6 ER's on 5 hits and 1 BB in 4 IP, while striking out 5. This is incredibly the 8th time in 25 starts that Woo has allowed at least 5 ER's, and 6 of those outings have come within his last 13 starts. Woo's ERA has jumped from 2.94 last season to 4.36 this year, although his underlying numbers have changed less drastically. His K% and GB% have each dropped around 3-4%, but the biggest differences have been with his LOB% (80.4% in 2025, 64.7% in 2026) and his BABIP (.238 in 2025, .283 in 2026) His 3.69 xFIP suggests that things haven't been as bad as they seem, but we shouldn't expect him go back to being a sub-3.00 ERA pitcher.
Connor Norby, 2B, COL
Norby had a huge day against the Nationals on Friday, going 2-4 with 3 runs, a HR, and 5 RBI. Since joining the Rockies shortly after the trade deadline, Norby has been on fire, slashing .310/.408/.571 with 2 HR's and 5 doubles across 13 games. Not all of that production has come at home, but playing half his games at Coors Field should be a boon for Norby's numbers. He still strikes out too much (29.8% K%) to hit for a good BA, but he's producing well enough that he should get a chance to play nearly every day for the Rockies, which automatically gives him some fantasy value.
Roki Sasaki, SP, LAD
Sasaki lasted just 3.1 IP against the Braves on Sunday, allowing 4 ER's on 6 hits and 2 BB"s while striking out 3 before leaving the game with a blister. He is expected to be placed on the 15 day IL, however it is unclear how much time he will have to miss. Sasaki had been on a bit of a hot streak entering Wednesday, recording a 2.31 ERA in 6 starts since the all-star break. He was unlikely to keep up that type of stretch considering his 3.34 BB/9 during this time, but it's still unfortunate to see him go down while he was finally doing fairly well. It's unnecessary to hold onto him in fantasy leagues even if he will make it back before the end of the season.
Tristan Peters, OF, CHW
Peters homered for the 5th straight game against the Rangers on Wednesday, finishing 3-4 with a double, a HR, and 2 RBI. During this incredible 5-game stretch, Peters has gone 10-18 with the 5 HR's and just 3 K's in 22 PA's. It's hard to see this type of power continuing as Peters hasn't been hitting the ball particularly hard. He does make good contact though (18.0% K%) which has helped him maintain a solid BA, and there's no reason he shouldn't continue to sprinkle in a moderate amount of power and speed. He can contribute across the board without excelling in one area.
